NARA PARK
NARA PARK is the motherland of all the deer. They roam freely, sit around, sleep, etc. You can feed the deer for about $1 USD with these wafer thin cracker they sell all around the park. Comes in a pack of about 5-8 depending where you get them. It’s a really large park so I would stay near the temple or the station so you aren’t walking back for so long.
But here is where I would say my fear of deers started. Now they are cute, maybe majestic at times but some of them can be a little aggressive. Mostly when you run out of food and stop feeding them. They can start getting nippy and nip at you, your clothes, etc. When this happens, I’ll just run to a neighboring group of people or into a shop. Keep in mind this doesn’t happen every time though it can happen often.
