NISEKO KONBU ONSEN
NISEKO KONBU ONSEN TSURUGA was an absolute dream. It is the most luxurious, fabulous, and expensive hotel I have EVER stayed at. I spent my own money to celebrate my birthday. It was a bit lavish but I really wanted to treat myself! When I booked the room, it was about $700 USD. Keep in mind that the hotel is a 3 1/2 hour train ride from Sapporo Station. I had to take a cab once I got into Niseko as walking is virutally impossible and the bus that takes you in was too confusing for my take. The room is REALLY large and can probably fit 4-6 people. Please refer to the room tour with the video below!
NAKATOMAMU
TOMAMU ICE VILLAGE
TOMAMU ICE VILLAGE was probably one of the most coolest (no pun intended) places I have ever visited! It was amazing to see this little village in person with their own mini konbini, ramen restaurant, bar, ice skating center and even a CHURCH. Yes you can actually get married in the church! Just a huge side note is you will definitely want to wear Heat Tech from Uniqlo. I wasn’t planning to wear any but I am SO glad I did. I also would advise boots that are waterproof AND make sure to buy heat pads for your feet. Despite how thick my boot were, my toes were definitely getting cold. I did a day trip here but please be aware of when the last train departs back to Sapporo if you’re doing a day trip. It is NOT a quick trip over, it is about 2 1/2 hours ONE WAY. ALSO, I was NOT a fan of the frozen ramen. It’s cool to try and what not but it was really salty and inedible.
